The Andro Roxon is a great tensor rubber. It has broken the speed and spin barriers set by the new gluing standard. The 450 and 500 are quite different, so make sure to get the right one for you.

Its a pretty spinny rubber, capable of high arcing loops and very fast smashes. The topsheet and sponge are both relatively soft, so you will have good feeling with it. The durability of Roxon (and Andro rubbers in general) is not terribly good. they rip and tear quite easily.

It is a good rubber for advance player. It is a tensor rubber.

I just used it last night for the first time. The surface is very grippy, throw angle is quite high, and it's very bouncy.

It's not quite as fast as Bryce Speed, but it offers more control and more spin. I've got the Roxon 500 Pro (max thickness) on FH, and Roxon 450 (2.0) on BH. Both are, in fact, quite soft, with the 500 Pro feeling much softer than Andro Revolution COR. The ball sinks into the 500, and the dwell time on the 450 is a bit higher; the 450 has a notably better speed glue effect and sound.

Loops are great with both (I used an Andro Kinetic CF Carbon OFF+ Blade) - counterlooping with the 500 is excellent, due to the softness of the sponge and the high throw angle. It's harder to make a loop kill, for which I prefer lower throw rubbers such as Bryce Speed, but I'm still happy overall.

The 500 is a bit heavy in max thickness, so it's good to counterbalance it with a lighter rubber on the other side.

These rubbers are a real winner when it comes to speed glue effect. I felt it was significantly better in this department than the Quad or Plasma series. The Roxon is supposedly more durable than these too, and Andro does not even provide rubber protection sheets, stating that they're not necessary - all you need is to keep it clean and away from extreme heat or cold. We'll see in a few months how the durability compares to my former rubbers, Bryce Speed and Speed FX.

Edit: Since switching back to my Dawei Wavestone blade, the combination has become much better. The Wavestone is harder and faster than the Andro blade, and has better balance with the rubbers (the Andro was a bit too light in the handle, causing it to be head-heavy). My loops are thus faster, with less effort.
