Andro Free Seal, or any other VOC free blade sealant or varnish, is critical to apply to your blade before gluing. It is a relatively cheap, VOC free sealant that keeps your blade from splintering from regluing. It is kind of creates a protective film across your blade that protects it. It also actually makes VOC free glues work a little better. I found better effects with Andro Free Glue as well as BTY Free Chack. I usually apply it to all my new blades, with two and three layers, because more can not hurt :)! You can also use it on the handle to prevent sweat from corroding the handle. Definitely recommend all players to use it.
