Primo Vitesse (Butterfly)

Ayous inner plies with thin carbon layers and Limba outer plies. Add the Foam Core handle and you have the only true carbon blade with a softer feel. Also, the lightest Butterfly carbon blade. Super Core system at its finest.

Butterfly Primo Vitesse is a extremely thin, light weight, and soft blade. It uses some kind of foam in the handle, as well as some really soft wood in the middle plies, so you get really good control. Also, there are not many vibrations, so you get what butterfly calls a "soft feel". the speed is average. The speed not explosive either, the ball seems to float. The blade does feel very nice though. you can get a really good feel for the ball, which helps in dealing with heavy underspin and other types of spin. Its not terribly expensive, but its not a great blade either. If you are new to table tennis, this is a good blade to start otu with.

Fast carbon blade with medium feel and adequate control for a wide range of techniques. weight about 82-85g. Smash, loop, chop no problem. Really lively with short games and powerful enough for middistance game. I am not sure about far from table loops since I have not tried. Good to use with medium to soft feel rubbers.
