SRIVER - Generation Three for Greater Spin and Speed

The High Tension Technology of BUTTERFLY has been steadily improving since 1997. We have now successfully built into the legendary SRIVER, the latest development of High Tension Technology.

The result is SRIVER G3, a big step forward for SRIVER in both speed and spin. We have retained the typical playing characteristics of SRIVER in both a steep trajectory and power. SRIVER G3 keeps the traditional values of past successes but offers greater spin and speed.

At first I was very hesitant about buying this rubber but I finally decided to give it a try since I got it pretty cheap.

My first impressions of G3 were that it was darn fast. I was pleasantly surprised. Its about as fast as Tenergy 05 but isn't as powerful. (if that makes sense).

T05 is more powerful but less controllable.

This rubber basically does everything well. Its not difficult to place the ball and when you get used to the rubber, chopping is a breeze too, although I found it hard at first since the ball kept going up. Counter looping is a breeze and looping backspin balls aren't as hard as I thought they would be. I can keep going on about what this rubber can do but long story short, I was extremely impressed with this rubber as it exceeded all of my expectations.

Speed glueing this will slightly soften the sponge. I think it becomes more elastic but long term I'm not sure if it slows the rubber down or not.

Sriver G3 is an awesome rubber! Great for intermediate-advanced players. In my opinion, it gives the satisfaction of a glued Sriver. (Not heavily glued though)

The bty sriver g3 rubber is a great tensor ruber for attacking. I liked this rubber very much for my backhand. It is a really fast rubber, with greaat spin. The control is pretty typical for a offensive rubber. Anyways, the is a medium hardness. I like it for backhand because it is very good for counterlooping. The control for blocking is a little hard to control, but i feel that it is perfect for counterlooping, thus perfect for my backhand. For looping, it is pretty good for looping rallies, but it is not as good as other rubbers for looping underspin balls. Overall, i like this rubber a lot.

The sriver g3 is the g3 with the normal our harder sponge.
It has a lot of gears and the speed is about as fast as the tenergy 05, i thinkthe g3 is a lot better to control in comparisation to the tenergy series, espescialy for beginners although the speed wil be to fast for a beginner i suppose.
The g3 is very good for flat hitting ,and blocking with it is very good to.
Short game is good but with the g3 fx it is better because it is softer.
Spin is nice to but tenergy gives more, not to high trajectory, nice arc and very fast,
Overall a very balanced rubber for the modern attacker who likes speed and sufficient spin with amazing control.
