3 star balls (Friendship/729)

These are 729 ***(3) Star balls 40mm table tennis balls with seamless design in ORANGE or WHITE. 729 (Chinese) 40mm Balls have consistent weight and bounce necessary for USATT sanctioned and ITTF sanctioned events. This ball is the most durable design with a perfect balance of wall thickness and density. Unlike most 3 stars 729 uses 3 quality checks; Roundness, (industry standard), Weight, (industry standard), the third check that is used only by our manufacturer is a cell wall density check for a more consistent bounce, and increased durability.

Um, okay, this ball pretty much sucks. Not a big friendship/729 fan in general, but these balls really are not good. They are extremely soft, and the bounce of them is not right. Additionally, if you put spin on it, it like curves weird and reacts weirdly. Honestly, these balls will not help you improve at all. I would definitely not recommend buying these balls, unless you want to play a joke. Buy some better balls like Nittaku Premium or DHS 3-star.

Not bad balls to play with, but they're good mainly for training or for your robot. They're a little too soft for competitive play.
