Express One (Joola)

Express One (Joola)

The Green Power technology developed by JOOLA takes off! The integral power developed for the Energy rubbers, which provides excellent speed glueing effect, has been further improved. JOOLA express is the rubber for the top player who needs 100% spin and speed. For all former speed gluers the JOOLA express is an absolute must! No glueing before the game but still the full power of the speed glueing effect is still included in the rubber, as well as in the price!

The hard version (47.5°) of the JOOLA express suits the ambitious player, who wants to maintain full power, extreme spin and good speed.

Excellent tensor rubber similar to the Express Two but harder sponge making it more suitable for close to the table play. Great for quick blocking and pushing goes over nice and low. It also gives a nice low trajectory if you're looking for that. The extra speed and low trajectory seem to make the ball almost kick off the table when combined with the incredible spin. I had no problem looping backspin over the table with this rubber and it gives a nice consistent angle when hitting the backspin adding to control.
All in all this is a very good choice for replacing speed glue but has extreme pace and may be difficult to control if you're not used to this or don't practise often, mainly because it doesn't have as many 'gears' or flexibility as say Sriver speed glued.
I've just put Bryce Speed on my backhand and Tenergy 05 on the forehand so will review these soon, but after one practise session they seem great and easy to control despite the pace.
