I bought this blade as an experiment during my equipment junkie phase but I bought the 7ply version. Unfortunately it was far too heavy and stiff, and the handle betrays a horrible build quality. Perhaps the 5 ply version is better, and it's a fast blade but it didn't seem conducive to allowing the rubber to generate much spin. A budget blade with a budget ability.

A great beginning to intermediate blade. Although some players take as far as the high US1800's. Inexpensive, slower and slightly lower quality alternative (in terms of longevity and durability) to classic developing blades like the Stiga Allaround Classic and BTY Primorac. Very flexible. Very soft. Effortless control in the short game. Loops close to table very well and allows attacking off the bounce and is very forgiving. Works with a range of rubbers and is surprisingly good with faster soft sponge rubbers. However, some faster classic rubbers (like Hammond Pro Alpha) become very one dimensional on this blade, and only shine with big power input. Weight is very light - between 70-75g usually. Build quality is OK - there is some variation blade to blade. Zeropong sells them sealed (usually) which is a nice touch. Probably the best $16 blade in it's class.

buon telaio per incominciare a giocare, tipo allround, quasi rigido con buon controllo.

[English translation by Google: good frame to begin playing, such as all-round, almost rigid with good control.]

LKT instinct is a popular beginner blade. Kind of a slow blade. Good for players beginning to learn table tennis. There is good control on this blade. It requires a bit of effort to loop with in the mid-distance. Close to table play is easier. It is a 5 ply blade. The plus version is a 7 ply blade. Just a little vibration on this blade. I have thrown this blade against the wall accidently and broken half of the handle off. This is probably due to the thin handle. Great value for a beginning blade and most likely can be found at your table tennis club shop or many places online.
