Here I am reviewing one of 4 latest glue effect rubber from LKT. LKT's previous attempt at a glue effect rubber IMO failed miserably. The Torrent was to slow to play at a high level, but here the Rapid Power marks a considerable improvement in terms of speed and playability.

The Rapid Power comes in a semi tacky topsheet, providing great spin on serves, and making it easy to loop. Similar to previous LKT offerings, the spin is plentiful. What's improved is that the speed of the rubber. It is now adequate to use in a spin oriented game, and packs enough of a punch to get it through an opponent. DO NOT compare this to a tensor rubber though, as it is still a huge step down in terms of glue feel and speed. But this is a step up for LKT in producing a euro/jap rubber.
