The nittaku haneyoshi blade is a defensive to allround blade that is made primarily for choppers and other defensive players. It is p[retty light, at about 82 g, with 5 plies of wood, and 2 plies of carbon. I personally did not really like the lightness of it as it did not give you a very solid feel when you chopped. It has great control, what is needed for chopping. The speed is average, i would say probably just enough speed to loop a ball once in a while, but not nearly enough for all out attacks. It is pretty pricey to me at 85 dollars. I think for that money, you could probably get a better chopping balde.
