The Violin is absolutely worth the money, this will improve your game for sure when you are an alrounder and looking for some more power, The feeling is very good from the first hit on, the control is amazing like you are playing with an alround blade and when you put on an attacking rubber on the Fh you have a great controllable setup with lots of punch on the FH to make the finishing shot
The Violin is very good for short game play with amazing blockprecision when you get used to the speed, Also looping is possible although you have to work a little more for that.
A great blade indeed!
People say that its has small handles but when you buy a str one ther is no problem at all, i have very big hands and play with it easily

Nittaku Violin is a very good blade for a intermediate offensive player. It is pretty fast, yet there is great control. It is pure wood though, so there is not any "artificial" speed effects. I found the wood to be pretty soft, so im not really fond of it, but that is because im weird and i like hard blades. But i still think it is a great blade for looping with lots of control. Its definitely of high quality. It is slower, but with more control, compared to the Acoustic. I think maybe if you are around 1400 rating, this is a good blade for you. If you are better, its probably too soft.

Just having a look at it´s box you´ll notice this is a expensive blade. I´ve never had imagined that blades also would have a Warrantee card (however it´s not applied out of Japan). The blade is superior in build quality and grains prove it´s price.

It´s easy to getting used and just having some sessions will felt to be plaiying with a prologation of your hand, just suits like a glove. But don´t fall into misunderstandings: this is not an OFF blade, it´s a rather slow but its control and superb feeling deserves it.

It´s a bit stiffer than accoustic, but less ticker. Also Great for short game and combine it with med-hard rubbers, a fast rubber will contribute to shorten its lacks of speed and will give you the best balanced offensive combo.

If money isn´t an issue, really worths it!!

Maybe the best pure 5-ply wood ever made. It´s medium speed but awesome control, you´ll even think to be playin with a Def. IMO it´s around All+ or OFF- but don´t think it´s OFF. Grains, veneers are so nices and ply construction is amazing. Weight is ok, maybe a little heavy to be an all+/OFF-.
Great for close to the table affairs: services, returns, blocks and short game in general, also works well in Mid distance, but lacks of power with strokes far to the table.
The worst of all it´s waaay expensive, and handles aren´t comfy at all, both extremely slim, much better ST.

It is a very soft blade with really good feelings. It will suit any all arounder to an agrressive looper. I recommend using it with sriver, bryce, or even with hurricane 3.
