Boost TP (Stiga)

Boost TP (Stiga)

Stiga has achieved the ultimate answer for the non-glue era! Boost rubbers with the new TTS Technology with "TransTension Sponge" and new materials generate maximum tension and sponge power. Boost rubbers are fast, bouncy, and with a tremendous catapult effect.

Boost TP (Tension Power) has a medium sponge and is great for the leading players who demand ultimate spin and speed combined with a sensitive touch.

First of all, in my opinion, i think Boost TC is a better rubber than Boost TP. Boost TP is too soft, but the top sheet is not tacky either. So you get a rubber that has good control, but has poor attacking characteristics..

The rubber is pretty fast, but it is not as suitable for attacking because of its lack of good spin. The topsheet is not tacky enough in my opinion. Also, the soft sponge is not suitable either. This rubber is good for handling spin, such as looping and ocunterlooping, but is lacking in blocking, serves, flips, etc. I think this rubber may work on the backhand for some people, but for me, it is simply not comfortable.
