Offensive CR (Stiga)

Offensive CR (Stiga)

Same as the Offensive CR WRB blade, but without the WRB technology. Has a more solid feeling. The only CR blade without the WRB technology. Members of the STIGA-sponsored Chinese National Table Tennis Team specifically asked STIGA to produce this blade. It is a fast blade, perfect for attacking play. The CR system provides increased speed while maintaining the STIGA touch.

Great blade, great control but lacking in speed, highly recommended for beginners. The speed can be improved by combining them with hard rubber.

I have changed from Stiga Allround CR+WRB to Offensice CR+WRB. It has the same feel, but is maby 20 - 25 % faster. Nearly the same controle. The weight should be 92 g - but it feels light and with good ballance. My Clipper wood is more heavy. I like the "CR" bats - a little more hard hits, and durable when changing the rubbers. A good quality blade and not expensive.

Stiga Offensive WRB CR is not as offensive as the name implies. Although a nice blade, i would not call it really an offensive type, because i think its more all around.

The best thing about the blade is the control, not the speed. Although the blade is pretty fast, it does not have the velocity to create killer loops such as Clipper Blades or ZL carbon blades. It is relatively light.

Its not a bad buy for the beginner, since its not terribly expensive. But i personally think are much better blades out there for attackers.

Great all around. A little hard to glue at first. Speed is good, but slow compared to the truly powerful blades, but control on loops, smashes, blocks and serves is excellent.
