Stiga optimum plus blade is a remake of the optimum sync blade, except with more speed. In comparison, the head size, weight, etc. are all about the same, but i think a different wood is used, that is a little harder, so you can get faster shots but you give up some control. i liked this blade much better than the optimum sync because it lessened the hollow feeling that you had with the optimum sync that made shots seem really airy and unsolid. this blade is much better for looping, you can feel the pop of the ball as it contact the rubber, and the click as it bounces off. it is not as thin as the optimum sync.
