Stiga Tube Light blade is definitely one for the beginner, and a pretty good one for a beginner for its low cost of 50 dollar.

If you have felt the blade, you know immediately it is extremely light. This is literally on the lightest blades i have ever held in my holy pingpong hands. It is not that soft wood, but its definitely light. As a result, you get awesome control, which is crucial for playing as a beginner.

The speed is crappy though. If you are over maybe 1400 rating, you will find that it is almost impossible to produce good quality loops, unless you have ridiculously fast rubber.

If you are looking for a blade to start out with, this is not a bad choice.
