I have been using those balls for practice for a very long time; I switch to 3 stars (DHS or Yasaka) just for a games. They are excellent! I see so many that comes and goes and get destroyed actually!!! The shell crack, they are to lite and so on....... This ball is sturdy, hard and last indefinitely (or almost) just not good enough for a game ;-)

The Table Tennis Pioneers Training Balls are an excellent ball choice for training and practice. Having a awesome quality and durability for a training ball, they are a selection you should have.

They are like the Stiga Club Selects, but a little more towards the quality of the three star balls (as well as a little towards the price too!). They are perfect hardness as well. They bounce very normally, spin, etc.

The price is a little on the high side for training balls, but they are definitely worth it, especially because you can get them for pretty good prices when TTP is having clearance sales.
