the tibhar samurai rubber is a tensor rubber that is a pretty mediocre offensive type rubber. There is nothing special to it, but it is a good rubber to use for offensive players, particularly beginners and or intermediates. It is really fast. But what makes it lacking for good loops is that it is very tough to create some good spin, as teh topsheet is not that tacky. the control is also very average, not nearly as good as more expensive rubbers from butterfly or the such. The sponge is medium hardness, but it does ahve a nice elasticity to it. The rubber was pretty good for counterlooping though, as you could vary the depth of the shots nicely.
