Vega Europe (Xiom)

Vega Europe (Xiom)

Vega Europe has the highest ball-trajectory to create a larger safe-zone (big window) over the net. Empirical test shows bigger window effectively increases the success rate of your attack and reduce the chance of miss shots. Very easy to make spins Vega Europe also has the deeper ball catching feel at impact for the control. New black Carbo Sponge maximized the internet efficiency to generate additional energy onto the ball. Ball flies with more power as a result. Resilient tensile structure improves the lifetime of rubber by 30-50%.

Best rubber for the money. This rubber is a jack of all trades. Does a lot well. Blocking is amazing, chops are good. Touch shots are easy. The rubber is very well built and durable. Looping, which is always dependant on your technique, for me is a nice tight arc that dips just beyond the net (if I want it to). Lots of spin.

But, for me, as a windshield wiper grip (seemiller variant) type player, the blocking is perfection. I cannot ephasize the blocking enough...just great.

Not overy reactive to incoming spin, but able to empart a lot of it. Serves are not as spinny as the omega versions or Tenergy, but certainly good.

The control...oh the control. This is a great all around rubber with TONS of control, and plenty of offensive snap.

One month ago, I bought the Xiom Vega Europe rubber in red and black both 2.2 mm, glued on an offensive Butterfly Innerforce ULC-blade.
I'm very satisfied with it, it has really good feeling and killer spin.
Vega Europe is also excellent for blocking and chopping with much control.
The weight is very good, it's a bit lighter than Butterfly Tenergy 64.
I like it way more than the expensive Butterfly Tenergy 64 (wich I've played with 1 year), because durability is way better, after I've played 1 month with it, the surface of the topsheet almost was unaffected.
Another important reason why you should buy Xiom Vega Europe and not Butterfly Tenergy 64: the power of topspin of the Vega Europe is way higher than that of the Tenergy 64.
The black carbo-sponge is very nice, I love it, it's very cool and professional looking.
Price is 30 euros, compared with Tenergy 64 --> 56 euros, so you save 26 euros what's quite much...
Smashing is much easier with the Vega Europe than with the Tenergy 64, it feels better, and sound is nicer.
Xiom Vega Europe is a good rubber for short, but bit more for mid-distance players, if you buy it in max. long distance shouldn't be a problem either.
Hopefully this review helped you as good as possible ;).
Greetings,

Jason
