i use with tenergy 05 on FH and sriver g3 fx on backhand, it is a good combo to use for people who have unstable loop

the balls you can hit are very fast and light. it is not like amultaart where the feel is very heavy, but rather like the yelow timo boll blade (zlc i think) that is much light and quick at attacking

definitely worth every penny, and it is just as good as the more expensive blades, except i think this one is cheaper!

It feels different to anything else I've played with so far, while I've played most of the time in the recent years with a Kreanga Carbon and a Persson Powerplay. I play Tenergy 64 rubbers on this blade and it seems to me that the blade has a build in speed glued effect in comparison with the Kreanga carbon, no matter how strange this sounds when talking about a blade. There are faster blades for hitters, but it seems to me that you can generate topsin with both more speed and spin with the Photino than with anything else I know. Hmm, about my ratings: there are of course blades which offer a much better control and which are much more forgiving than the photino, but in terms of speed to control I have not come across anything which suits me as well. I have not played with the Boll ZLF, which is supposed to be similar, but it beats other butterfly blades like the ishlion and others like the waldner black devil in all aspects of the game despite heavy smashes. Expensive, but more than worth it.

It feels supercharged, much more than the amultart or the boll alc for instance, meaning that the speed really comes out in a catapult manner when you want it to, but stay controllable for blocks and passive play. In combination with tenergy rubbers, it seems easier to me to generate massive spin balls on initial attack as well as during a rally than with a amultart. However, you can still play really powerful direct shots, though I would recommend a amultart for the more direct play with less spin. The combination of the photino blade with tenergy rubbers (both 05 and 64) is for me the best combination by far since the ban of speed glue. Incredible spin, tremendous speed and ok control, what could you want more if you are a modern offensive two winged looper?

Coupled with two layers of carbon, some soft wood, and a pretty light weight, the Photino is great! You can get really fast and explosive shots, but without compromising control. The carbon allows for extremely powerful shots, while the soft wood and light weight allows you to control the ball and get the feel for it really easily. Its very similar to a Mizutani or Amultart ZL Carbon, but it is slightly lighter, softer, and has better control and lighter speed. It is for intermediate to advanced players. If you are a hardcore looper, you may not think its quite fast enough, so you might prefer a Amultart of Mizutani.
