Schlager Carbon (Butterfly)

Schlager Carbon (Butterfly)

2003 World Champion, Werner Schlager (AUT), helped design and plays with our newest offering in Butterfly's Carbon line. Not for the faint of heart, this is our fastest blade, designed for stinging blocks and power-packed topspin plays. Combine this blade with Bryce rubber and like Werner Schlager, you too can be playing with the most powerful racket on the market.

This is a very stiff fast and hard blade, it is very good for top spin play and hitting, it is an attackers dream and also very good for off the table play but you have to have the right techique , it is definitely not a blade for beginners because it has not enough control for them ,even for an advanced player it can be difficult to control this one, but when you arm it with more lighter and softer rubbers it is better controllable.
If you can play with this it is a great weapon, pure power!

I've been using Schlager Carbon (Butterfly) for more than a year now. I provide tremendous power and speed if you add it with speed axel. But, the drawback is you lost the 'feel' or control as with any other carbon blade. Very useful for aggresive/attacking players.
One of my buddy bought one too, after he tested my blade.

OH MAN! This is my type of blade: ridiculous speed with average control. Butterfly Werner Schlager Carbon is one of the fastest blades i ever put my hands upon.

The wood is very stiff and hard, the weight is pretty heavy. This blade is NOT FOR NOOBS. You need a lot of feeling in your arm and hand to use this successfully. This blade is capable of producing extremely fast shots, but you will need mostly your own feeling to control your shots. I tried it with tenergy, but there was just too much uncontrollable power. Thus, i switched to some soft rubber, Bryce speed fx, and it was amazing. Though not my current setup, this would definitely be my second choice.
