Vioncello (Nittaku)

Highest class wood and production, made with the special plywood technology used in manufacturing stringed instruments. Fantastic vibration absorption resulting in excellent performance in a defensive blade with offensive potential. After feeling this one you can never go back!

The nittaku vioncello is opposite of teh violin, this one is a defensive blade. I am not really quite sure if its rather used for close to tabel control and blocking or if it is used for chopping, but it seems to go either way for me. The speed is low, with high control. It is a pretty decent defensive blade, you can control the spin, depth of shots, and placement of shots all quite well. The wood is extremely soft, so the ball like digs into the wood, and the vibration is very small. It is 5 ply wood. But the price is way high to me. 140 dollars for a defensive blade just doesnt work.
