This rubber is a truly different rubber. i did not put any ratings, because it is really all subject to opinion and choice, because this rubber is really out there. So it does exactly like its name, it absorbs energy! Basically, this is like a anti rubber on steroids. It will take the spiniest shot and make it dead as a corpse, and it will take the fast shot and make it slow as a turtle. But the sponge still has this elasticity, a very controllable elasticity. When you try to smash, it feels very much like an offensive rubber, but when you block, it feels lke a very anti spin rubber. For 28 dollars, i had a lot of fun though!
