This blade is incredibly expensive, and was supposed to be the blade I bought once and stuck with forever. I must admit I love it and it is so snappy, in that the second you touch the ball it flies right off the bat at pace, whilst still seemingly being good at control and serves.
It also looks awesome.

The build quality however was bad and as was commonly reported by users of the blade it has a rough patch around the handle which can hurt your finger, I had to sand this down so it's not longer a problem but who wants to be doing this. Also, after about a year the handle is breaking, with the pieces coming off. I'll glue them back on once they finally come off but none of my other blades have done this, and it's quite annoying.

It is quite heavy although when I bought it I specified from the shop for them to give me their lightest one and it is still one of my heaviest blades, but bearable, so be careful with this, as when combined with tenergy the entire thing can become tiresome during a game and difficult to react quickly.

Overall, the thing is an absolute beast in attack and has great 'gears', it can control well as well as being blisteringly fast. For the price though the build quality is bad and mine is breaking. A pitch black blade though, what could be cooler. But "Nano-technology"? Give me a break.

This blade is superb, if you don't care about the weight. This could certainly be my main blade if it was 20g lighter. Control, speed, feedback and dwell-time are all well balanced. The Hybrid Wood is rated at 95g, mine was 4g heavier, though. This is not as fast as the Donic Waldner Black Devil or BTY Maze, maybe around Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Off. The dwell-time is shorter than in the Maze, but longer than in the Black Devil. The sweet spot is very large, handle feels very good (FL), control is simply superb, and I've had no problems with the blade warping like reportedly there has been with the new Stiga flagship, the Ebenholz NCT VII.

Please understand that I've been using the lightest rubbers that I could find with this blade, e.g. 729 Super FX Lightening and Dawei Inspirit Quattro Ultra Light SV35. These rubbers are not very fast(the Lightening was downright slow), so this blade will certainly benefit from spring sponges and tensor rubbers.

However, I believe this blade would play best with the Quattro UL max H42 (Power) on forehand and either max H40 or 2.0mm H42 on backhand, to keep the weight low. The Innova UL SynergyTech would also be a solid option, just tougher on the wallet. These are the fastest light-weight pips-in rubbers that can think of, but any solid light rubbers will do the trick. If you use pips-out, try the RITC 802-40 2.0mm H35 with this one, it only weighs 28g cut to shape.

Pros:
-good dwell time
-good speed/control
-large sweet spot
-very good handle (FL)
-high quality factory sealed

Cons:
-super heavyweight at 99g (this really limits your choice of rubbers)
-supersharp edges near the handle (needs some fine sandpaper, 200 grain or so)

Physically speaking, stiga's hybrid wood blade is a new blade built to use in the glue ban that is very very light and very thin. i think the wheter people will like this blade is very subject to personal preference. it is very light blade. It has pretty good speed and power, but i did not like the feeling o looping with it. it is kind of a weak feeling loop, you dont feel the full smack of loops and blocks. another problem i found was when you block the ball does not absorb into the wood very well, so you dont have excelletn contorl. i personally would not got with this blade.

This is a blade by Stiga thats supposed to help give you the built in glue effects. I say its a pretty good blade with pretty good all around characteristics. It has decent control. It is not hard not soft, aroudn the middle. The speed is pretty fast. It has a very responsive wood, the ball just seems to fly away as soon as you hit it. The quality is also pretty good. It looks really cool, with a jet black wood. But when you look at the price (130 dollars or so), it is kind of not worth it. It is definitely not as good as an Acoustic, Amultart, or Mizutani, all of which are similar price.
