Stiga optimum carbo is a pretty solid blade for offensive players. It uses 5 plies of wood, and 4 plies of really thin carbon. the speed is definitely good, it is comparable to that of amultart and mizutani or even faster. the control is quite lacking though, but it is still usable, if you are advanced player with good touch, you could still probably use this blade.

the blade is pretty hard wood, but its actually somewhat light for such a fast paddle. i did not quite like the combination, because you a feel of what i think as a hollow shot. although, the wood seemed to chip and tear really easily.

at 110 dollars, i think it would be wiser to buy a better blade for the money or a similar blade for less.
