Nimbus Soft (Tibhar)

The soft version of Nimbus will definitely impress all players who like playing with very soft offensive rubbers. Nimbus Soft with its 37,5° sponge hardness has exceedingly perceptive ball control and was developed in such a way that, even in extreme playing situations, it will provide a large margin for technical error. The very small speed loss is more than compensated by the enormous increase of control this rubber provides.

The tibhar nimbus soft is a soft tensor rubber, it is a great rubber for a controlled looping/counter hitting game. The controll is really perfect, but you will need a harder blade to get full attacking potential elseway it will be to soft to finish of a rally, Spinning and looping works great with this rubber, you have a lot of dwelltime to make a good topspin shot
It lacks a little speed for a complete attacking style off play but it is a good rubber from tibhar looks a lot like the tibhar sound just a little softer but no big differences, its what sponge you like better i think

The right answer to TT ban by Thibar. It´s pretty soft, plenty of power and relative control and has and affordable price. It´s the closest to glued BTY Cermet, but fortunately nothing to do with old gen Thibar rubbers like Rapid D.Tech and Rookie, this one has a real built-in glue effect. However, it has the same problem of most Tensors: durability. The rubber performs awesome during the first mounth, decently during the second but will not last you the whole season.

Worths a try if you come from glued soft rubbers.

This rubber has an extremely soft, grippy pliable topheet mounted on a soft sponge. The topsheet itself is also slightly tacky compared to most euro/jap rubbers. The rubber feels not like but exactly like a speed glued sriver fx but with more speed and spin. Throw is high so looping of backspin is very easy. Remarkably blocking is also great very crisp when you want it to be. Soft blocking is this rubbers little secret, you can take the sting out heavy speedy loops very easily. If you hold the bat lightly you can also generate a weird slow floaty block (THIS WAS FUN!). Short game with this rubber is a mixed bag. Flicks are easy because of the tacky topsheet but delicate pushes/drop shot sometimes stall resulting in the ball going into the net. The weight of the rubber is very light (like the roxon 450 on my forhand (see review). Overall a good speed glue backhand rubber
