I have not tried these shoes while playing table tennis, but i do use them to play badminton. They are definitely not a light weight, flexible type table tennis shoe. They are very supported and stiff. There is not much flexibility, but you definitely feel it mold to your foot. Its not very comfortable either, so that is also a problem with them. It has pretty good grip, and it is slightly on the heavy side. In my opinion, its probably and little too stiff and rigid to serve as a table tennis shoe, but if you like using medium tops, such as volleyball shoes, these are very similar. They are not terribly expensive, so you might be interested!

Designed as badminton shoes. Better support than table tennis shoes I tried. Built in medial arch. Roomy toebox.
