This has been several months in the making, but it's finally here - the totally new design, and upgraded software.

Included in the software upgrades are fixes to some glitches and new features in the forum, and changes to some of the site navigation. Browsing should be quicker for a better experience, and editing your reviews is easier than before (but only if you have a lot).

Here are some of the other changes:

• When you edit your review, it gets re-published automatically. That saves me a step, and saves you from having to wait to see your changes. (Are there any other sites that let you edit your reviews? )


• There is now a Brands menu item for you to navigate by brand. The brand pages are also hyperlinked to from the category, "all equipment", and criteria search pages.

If you tried to register on this site yesterday, there was a rather major problem where the Register button on the top right didn't allow you to do so. (You could only register from the forum page.)

That's been fixed (along with a couple of other minor problems).
